before the program starts
Do you sometimes feel the pressure of trying to keep up with expectations placed on you by your parents, social media, peers and school?
Do you suffer from low self-esteem and sometimes question who you are and what you’re capable of?
Are you facing the reality of anxiety?
Do you sometimes feel isolated or disconnected from your friends, family and community?
If you answered YES to one or many of these questions, perhaps it’s time to reach out for support
…because it’s here, right in front of you.
Is Youth on a Mission right for me?
Then, Youth on a Mission is for you! You’re in the right place.
Hi! I’m Fiona
I’ve been a dancer my whole life and a teacher and mentor in the performing arts for the past 20 years.
Working with young people my entire professional career has been a privilege.
I remember clearly as a teen and young adult facing obstacles that I believed I had to deal with all on my own.
Perhaps it was pride to avoid appearing weak, maybe it was fear that I would be judged or labelled…but my inability to reach out and share was real.
I TRULY remember feeling like “no one would understand”.
Can you relate?
In 4 inspiring weeks, you’ll discover who you are and learn to let go of who you think you should be.
What does the program look like?
Live coaching sessions
Weekly writing exercises
Guided audio recordings
One-on-one Zoom session
If you’re ready to grow and can commit to two hours a week for four weeks, you’ll learn so much about yourself that you didn't even know, and gain tools and ways to move through your life with confidence, ease and inner happiness.
Special guest: Merrin Wake
Merrin Wake, founder of The Aware Project, will join us live for a bonus session in Week 3 of our LIVE call.
She’ll be talking about mental health, disordered eating and common challenges faced by teens and young adults.
You’ll discover that what you’re feeling, thinking and experiencing IS relatable and there IS help out there for you.
Merrin’s approach is nurturing and warm. She is so passionate about empowering and teaching young people how to sift through challenges and come out the other end.
Merrin is a highly experienced Health Education Consultant and Clinical Nurse Specialist (Child and Adolescent Health). She’s a university lecturer and trainer in the areas of mental health, diversity and inclusion and trauma-informed care.
